The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation between the Turkic Council and World Customs Organization (WCO) was signed!
In the framework of the official visit of Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov to Brussels, the MoU for cooperation between the Turkic Council and World Customs Union- WCO was signed by Ambassador Hasanov and Mr. Kunio Mikuriya, Secretary General of WCO at the headquarters of the latter in Brussels on 17 February 2015. 

The signed MoU that targets to enhance regional cooperation in the field of customs affairs constitutes the legal basis to provide coordination and collaboration between the two organizations. 

At the signing ceremony both Secretary Generals expressed their strong desire and commitment for the materialization of the principles indicated in the MoU. 

Mr. Alan Harrison, Executive Officer for Office of Secretary General and Mr. Dashgin Aliyev, Technical Attaché for Capacity Building Directorate from the Secretariat of WCO as well as Mrs. Pelin Musabay Baki and Mr. Farid Damirli from the Secretariat of Turkic Council together with Ms. Ozlem Soysanli, Customs Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Brussels attended the signing ceremony.
