The Ninth Meeting of the Turkic Council Working Group on Customs Cooperation was held on 27 April 2018 in Istanbul.
During the meeting, the Member States discussed the issues such as likely organization of training seminars in the field of customs enforcement, Caravanserai Project and cooperation with China in the scope of the said initiative, the prospective Turkic Council Workshop on Authorized Economic Operators (AEO), which will be held in 2018 in Kazakhstan, and Memoranda of Understanding on the Preliminary Information Sharing, Customs Enforcement and Public Private Partnership.
It was agreed that the next meeting of the Heads of Customs Administration of the Turkic Council will be held in the second half of 2018.
Project Directors Farid Damirli, Zhyldyz Uzakova, Özge Pan, Zhanar Nugumanova and Research Expert Dastan Almen represented the Turkic Council at the meeting.
