The opening ceremony of the Turkic Council International Youth Camp was hosted by the Ministry for Religious Affairs and Civil Society of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 11 July 2017 at camp facilities in Zerendy village of Aqmola Oblast, Kazakhstan.
The Vice Minister for Religious Affairs and Civil Society of the Republic of Kazakhstan Abzal Nukenov and Chairman of Nur Otan Party`s Youth Wing Zhas Otan Daniyar Sunzhetpayev honored the opening ceremony during which youngsters staged concert and performance of folk songs with a wide participation of camp guests coming from Turkic Council Member States Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey. Local media outlets and journalists were also present at the opening ceremony.
The camp, which will last until 16 July 2017, includes thematic debates, training programs, local trips as well as other cultural and sports activities.
The Intern of the Turkic Council Secretariat Ms. Melike Kuzu is attending the camp.
