The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev and the Secretariat staff welcomed the new Deputies Secretary General from Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan on December 1, 2022 in Istanbul.

Yerzhan Mukash from Kazakhstan and Sadi Jafarov from Azerbaijan were appointed to their post by the Heads of State at the Ninth Summit of the Organization of Turkic States that took place in Samarkand on November 11, 2022.

The Secretary General and the Secretariat staff welcomed the new Deputies Secretary General and wished them success during their term.
