The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with the Ambassador of France in Ankara H.E. Herve Magro at the Headquarters of the OTS in Istanbul on 27 January 2023.

During the courtesy visit, Ambassador Magro congratulated Secretary General Omuraliev on his appointment as the new Secretary General of the OTS and wished him success. 

The Secretary General Omuraliev informed the Ambassador on activities of the OTS and the current economic agenda, and reiterated the readiness of the OTS to work together on issues of common interest.

During the meeting, the Secretary General and the Ambassador discussed regional developments, as well as wide range of issues of cooperation, including OTS-EU relations, collaboration in energy, transport and development areas.
