H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, met with H.E. Hilola Umarova, Minister of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 13 June 2023 in Samarkand.
During the meeting, Ambassador Omuraliev discussed with Minister Umarova the preparation process and agenda of the 7th Meeting of the Ministers of Education of the Member States of the OTS to be held on June 13-14, 2023 in Samarkand.
The Minister, thanking the Secretary General for his support and assistance in organizing the meeting, expressed confidence that the outcome of the ministerial meeting would be useful and productive, especially for the younger generation of Turkic states.
The Parties also discussed issues of expanding cooperation in the field of education among the OTS Member States, including implementation of joint projects regarding kindergartens and schools.
