The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev received the Member of Parliament of Republic of Turkiye, and the President of the Turkiye-Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Mr. Şamil Ayrım in the premises of the OTS Secretariat in Istanbul.

MP Ayrım extended his congratulations to Ambassador Omuraliyev on his appointment to the position of Secretary General of the OTS, wished him every success for the remainder of his tenure and assured that the Parliament of Türkiye will support him in all endeavors aimed at enhancing Turkic cooperation.

At the meeting, the parties exchanged views on activities of the OTS, as well as ways to strengthen the inter-parliamentary relations among OTS member and observer countries.
