The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev received the Chairman of Çalık Holding Mr. Ahmet Çalık on 31 May 2023 at the premises of the OTS Secretariat in Istanbul.
Mr. Çalık briefed the Secretary General on the business activities of Çalık Group in the OTS countries and shared his views on future plans of the company within the Turkic countries. Mr. Çalık also expressed his support for the efforts of the OTS Secretariat to improve conducting business among the public and private sectors of the OTS countries.
The Secretary General Omuraliev thanked Mr. Çalık for his contribution to the development of the economies of Turkic states. Reiterating the readiness of the OTS Secretariat to help pave the way for private sector to further expand cooperation, the OTS Secretary General emphasized the importance of the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industries (TCCI) in this context.
The parties also exchanged views on various issues of mutual concern; including the developments in the fields of trade, transport, and energy.
