The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev visited Türkiye's Automobile Joint Venture Group (TOGG) headquarters located in the Technology Development  Valley (IT Valley) in Gebze district of Kocaeli province on 7 March 2023.

The visit was organized by the invitation of Mr. Mustafa Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchange of Turkey (TOBB) and Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI), as well as the Chairman of the Board of TOGG.

The Secretary General was introduced to the first completely-electric C-SUV domestic vehicle released last year by TOGG. It was also informed that the mass battery production for electric vehicles will be launched by Siro Battery Development Center (Energy Storage) created under the TOGG.

The Secretary General congratulated the TOBB-TCCI President Hisarcıklıoğlu for the production of first completely-electric vehicle in the Turkic world, which is a great progress of Turkish technology development.

The Secretary General also commended the special role and contribution of TOBB and TCCI in strengthening trade relations between Turkic States, as well as the mechanism of fruitful cooperation among the OTS countries.

Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed his gratitude to the Secretary General for visiting TOGG and expressed his appreciation for the steps taken by Secretary General to improve and deepen relations between the Turkic States. 

Chairman of the Board of "Anadolu Group" Mr. Tuncay Ozilhan and Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Zorlu Holding" Mr.  Ahmet Nazif Zorlu took part in the meeting.

During the visit, the Secretary General and TOBB-TCCI President also discussed general issues on the economic agenda of the Organization.
