The 40th Senior Officials Committee meeting of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) convened at the premises of the OTS Secretariat on 15-16 June 2023 in Istanbul.

Delegations from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of OTS member states as well as Secretariat officials attended the meeting.

The members of the Senior Official Committee discussed the follow up of decisions of Samarkand and extraordinary Ankara summits as well as preparations of the upcoming OTS Summit which is scheduled to take place in October in Turkistan city, the Spiritual Capital of the Turkic World.

During the meeting, the Secretariat officials briefed the Senior Officials Committee members on the latest initiatives taken for expanding cooperation of the OTS with international and regional organizations as well as the current regional and international challenges and opportunities.
