The Project Director of the Turkic Council Mehmet Şefik Yurtçiçek met with Prof. Dr. Manzoor Hussain Soomro, the President of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Science Foundation (ECOSF) on 20 March 2017 upon his request.
President Soomro briefed on the recent activities of ECOSF carried out with its international partners and expressed the willingness of his institution to cooperate with the Turkic Council Secretariat and the International Turkic Academy in organizing capacity building trainings, science and technology workshops and especially conducting researches on the history of science and technology in the Turkic Council and the ECO regions.
Mr. Yurtçiçek, for his part, mentioned some of the major projects currently being implemented in the field of education, expressed the Secretariat`s readiness to work on possible ways of cooperation in the areas of mutual concern.
