Within the framework his participation in the "Boysun Bahori" International Folklore Festival in Surkhandara region of Uzbekistan, the Deputy Secretary General Dr. Mirvokhid Azimov visited the architectural monuments named after the famous Hadith scholar Imam Tirmidhi and Sultan Saodat.

The mausoleum of Imam Tirmidhi is located in Sherabad district of Surkhandarya region and is an architectural monument of the 11th-12th centuries. Tirmidhi is considered as one of the six muhadith scholars of the Islamic world who lived and worked in the years 824-892.

Sultan Saodat complex is located 3 km north-east of Termez city.  The complex of Sultan Saodat, which was formed between the 9th and 17th centuries, holds the graves of the influential Sayyid dynasty of Termez, who played a significant role in the history of Maverannahr and Khorasan. The Termez Sayyids claimed direct descendancy of the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.v.).

It was agreed to include these historical sites into the “Tabarruk Ziyarat” tourism project of OTS and jointly promote them with the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan.
