In the framework of the institutional ties based on the Memorandum of Understanding signed among the relevant institutions on 8 May 2015 in Baku, the Second Meeting of Official Foreign Policy Research Centers of the Member States of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council) has started on 21 December 2015 in Istanbul at Conrad Hotel.
The meeting has started by the opening addresses of the Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov and the Chairman of the SAM of the Republic of Turkey, Prof. Dr.Ali Resul Usul and continued with the speeches of Dr. Farhad Mammadov, Director, Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Yerlan Karin, Director, Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Talant Sultanov, Director, National Institute for Strategic Studies of the Kyrgyz Republic, Huseyn Huseynov, Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and special guest of the meeting, Zoltan Egeresi, Senior Expert, Institute for Foreign Relations and Trade of the Republic of Hungary. The Meeting will last all day.
Furthermore, the Strategic Research Center under the Presidency of the Republic of Azerbaijan displayed their publications in a stand, which are the results of the work they have accomplished to the participants of the meeting.
After the first part of the Meeting, the Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov gave a luncheon in honor of participants of the Second Meeting of Official Foreign Policy Research Centers of Turkic Council Member States at Conrad Hotel.
