The Ministers in charge of disaster and emergency management of the OTS Member and Observer States took part at the meeting. During the meeting, the Parties emphasized the importance of the joint efforts of the Turkic countries in the field of disaster and emergency management. They discussed the issues of common interest and praised the results of the negotiation over the draft Agreement on the Establishment of the Civil Protection Mechanism of the OTS.
As a result of the meeting, the Ministers signed the Declaration of the Second Ministerial Meeting on Emergency Management of the OTS.
On the same date, the participants attended the disaster and emergency management training “Baku-2023 International Exercise”, where the joint operations of the disaster and emergency teams of the OTS Member States  were demonstrated.
