The Secretariat of the Turkic Council participated at the Senior Officials Meeting of the Heart of Asia-Istanbul Process on in New York.
Upon the invitation of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the Secretariat of the Turkic Council attended the Senior Officials Meeting of the Heart of Asia-Istanbul Process on 27 September 2015 in New York.
At the meeting, where the contribution of within the scope of the Confidence Building Measures by the state parties was discussed, the participants exchanged views on the Declaration of the Fifth Meeting of the Foreign Affairs of the Istanbul Process planned to take place on 8 December 2015 in Islamabad.
While the inclusion of the Turkic Council as the Supporting Regional Organization to the Istanbul Process was at the agenda of the meeting, the issue was postponed until the next Senior Officials Meeting to be held in Islamabad.
The Project Directors Ali Çiviler and Yedil Myrzakhanov represented the Secretariat of the Turkic Council at the abovementioned meeting.
