Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev held a meeting with the Chairman of the OTS Council of Elders H.E. Binali Yıldırım, on 14 February 2023 in Ankara.
During the meeting, Secretary General Omuraliev expressed his deep condolences to Mr.Binali Yıldırım due to the earthquake disaster happened in Türkiye on February 6, 2023,.
Stating that the Member and Observer States of the Organization of Turkic States mobilized immediately to help Türkiye right after the earthquake, the Secretary General drew attention to the moral support and solidarity shown by the Turkic peoples, as well as the humanitarian aid and rescue support of the brotherly Turkic States.
Thanking the Secretary General for his condolences, Chairman Yıldırım stated that the solidarity shown both by the OTS Secretariat and the brotherly Turkic States means a lot for the Turkish people in these difficult times.
