On the sidelines of the IV World Nomad Games Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States H.E. Baghdad Amreyev held a meeting with H.E. Adkham Ikramov, Minister of Sport of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Head of the Agency for Youth Affairs of Uzbekistan Mr. Alisher Sadullayev in Iznik, Bursa on 29 September 2022.

The Secretary General B. Amreyev discussed with A. Ikramov and A. Sadullaev the state and prospects of cooperation between the Member States in the field of modern and national sport.

They exchanged views on the ongoing World Nomad Games in Turkey and underlined the excellent organization of the event, which undoubtedly made a huge contribution to the popularization of the great Turkic cultural heritage in the world.

The parties stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between the sports authorities of the Member States and efforts to attract public and social sports associations of the Turkic states to the sports competitions of the Organization.

Minister of Sports of Uzbekistan A. Ikramov awarded the Secretary General B. Amreyev with the “Medal of Honour” for the outstanding service and contribution of His Excellency to the development of sport in the Turkic World.
