Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States H.E. Baghdad Amreyev held a meeting with the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tashkent on June 1, 2022.
The Secretary General and Minister exchanged views on the issues of creating favorable conditions along the Trans-Caspian Corridor, preparing for the upcoming meeting of the Ministers of Transport, cooperation in the field of railway communication and civil aviation, the Sister Ports process, and concluding the Agreement on International Combined Freight Transport, digitalization of transport relations with "e - TIR", "e - Permit", "e - CMR"
Baghdad Amreyev stressed the strengthening transport cooperation, as well as turning the Trans-Caspian corridor into an effective, seamless and sustainable route in East-West trade and instruct the relevant authorities of the Member States to take necessary measures to this end and agreed to intensify work with the Member States towards finalization of the draft Agreement on International Combined Freight Transport for signature.
