The Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov and the Secretary General of UN World Tourism Organization Secretary (UNWTO) Taleb Rifai had bilateral talks just before the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation between the Turkic Council and the UNWTO on 26 June 2015.
During the meeting the parties discussed steps to be implemented according to the Memorandum of Understanding to be signed between two organizations. The two sides have also talked about the projects to be carried out in the framework of the cooperation between two organizations.
The UNWTO experts and the Project Directors of the Turkic Council Pelin Musabay Baki and Yedil Myrzakhanov were present at the said meeting.
At the end of the meeting the Secretary General Hasanov has presented a souvenir to the Secretary General Rifai as a symbol of remembrance and invited him to Istanbul as a continuation of the bilateral cooperation.
Thus, the Turkic Council will be signing the Memorandum of Understanding with one of the important bodies of the United Nations.
