The Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov is attending the 4th Congress of the World Azerbaijanis.
The Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov, who is with an official visit to Baku, is attending the 4th Congress of the World Azerbaijanis started on 3 June 2016 and hosted by the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The opening of the Congress, aimed at fostering unity and solidarity among the ethnic Azerbaijanis around the world and making the diaspora more active, was done by His Excellency the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
A final report will be prepared at the end of the two-day congress, where concurrent sessions will be held.
Secretary General Hasanov will hold several bilateral meetings on the occasion of the Congress. He will also have high-level talks and exchange ideas on the activities in the field of diaspora of the Turkic Council.
The Project Director Zamin Aliyev and Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul accompany the Secretary General at the Congress.
