The Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov came together with the Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Ambassador Halil İbrahim Akça on 28 September 2015 in New York.
The Secretary General Hasanov exchanged views with the ECO Secretary General Halil İbrahim Akça the ongoing relations between the Turkic Council and the ECO on the sidelines of the United Nations 70th General Assembly where the Secretary General Hasanov held various talks.
The Secretary General Hasanov, while emphasizing the importance of the endurance of the Turkic Council’s observer status to the ECO, underlined to the addressee the need to develop joint projects in order to further the existing relationship between the two organizations.
The Secretary General Akça expressed his satisfaction with the talks conveyed his views on the joint cooperation project can be carried out between the two organizations in the future.
The Project Directors Ali Çiviler and Yedil Myrzakhanov, as well as the Head of Protocol Emre Yurdakul accompanied the Secretary General Hasanov at the said meeting.
