Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan H.E. Shahin Mustafayev, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Turkey H.E. Nihat Zeybekci, Vice-Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan H.E. Aidar Arifkhanov, Stats Secretary of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Ayday Kurmanova gathered together on 21 December 2016 in Baku aiming to carry forward the economic agenda of the Member States of the Turkic Council.

Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafyev welcomed the participants in Baku and emphasized on the importance of cooperation in sphere of economy among Turkic States. Following Minister’s welcome Heads of Delegations of the Member States of Turkic Council delivered their statements.

Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov in his speech underlined the activities in economic sphere, implemented in the framework of Turkic Council and informed the Ministers about projects to be implemented by the Secretariat.

Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Dr. Omer Kocaman reported to the Ministers on the results of 8th Meeting of the Working Group on Economy as a moderator.

The Heads of delegations thanked the Minister Mustafayev for hosting the event and welcomed the proposal of Turkey to host the next Ministerial Meeting in Turkey.

The said event has ended by signing the Agreed minutes of the Sixth Meeting of the Ministers in charge of Economy by Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ramil Hasanov.

Following the meeting, Host Minister Mustafayev gave an official luncheon in the honor of heads of delegation.

Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ömer Kocaman, Project Directors Zamin Aliyev, Assan Mazhitov, Farid Damirli, Mehmet Şefik Yurtçiçek and Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul accompanied Secretary General Hasanov during the meeting.
