The staff of the Turkic Council and Turkey’s International Transport Association met on 15 April 2016 to discuss issues related to the facilitation of customs and transport.
On 15 April 2016 a meeting was in held at the premises of Turkic Council Secretariat between the staff of the Council and Turkey’s International Transport Association (ITA) to discuss issues related to the facilitation of customs and transport between the Member States of the Turkic Council.
 
Deputy Secretary General Abzal Saparbekuly informed Chairman of the Executive Committee Mr. Fatih Şener about the activities implemented in the framework of Turkic Council in the sphere of customs and transport.
 
He also notified that the meeting on Customs cooperation will be held in Istanbul on 22 April 2016. Thus, the proposals and opinion of ITA regarding the trade facilitation by improving customs procedures will provide a great value for the discussions of the Working Group on Customs Cooperation.
 
Along with the Deputy Secretary General Abzal Saparbekuly, the Turkic Council Project Directors Ali Çiviler, Ferid Damirli and Mehmet Şefik Yurtçiçek attended the meeting.
