The Third Meeting of the Working Group on Information and Communication Technologies has been held on 8 November 2017 in Istanbul.
The Third Meeting of the Working Group on Information and Communication Technologies hosted by the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications of the Republic of Turkey with the participation of representatives of the Member States was held on 8 November 2017 in Istanbul.

The meeting was started with opening remarks of the moderator Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Dr. Ömer Kocaman and statements of the Heads of Delegations of the Member States.

Following the opening session delegations were divided into four Sub Working Groups namely: cybersecurity, TASIM project and fiber infrastructure, satellite services and e-government. The Sub Group was followed by the wrap-up session where issues related to said projects have been discussed by the Member States and concrete proposals were suggested. All suggestions were reflected in the Protocol of the Meeting which was adopted by all Parties.

Deputy Secretary General Dr. Kocaman was accompanied by Project Directors Farid Damirli, Yedil Myrzakhanov, Zhyldyz Uzakova, Özge Pan and Research Expert Dastan Almen during the meeting.
