The concert tour of TURKSOY Youth Chamber Orchestra, organized by the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Cooperation Council of the Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council), was concluded with the last concert in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, following its performances in different cities of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The concert took place on 9 September 2019, on the stage of Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic Hall.

Congratulating the Secretary General of TURKSOY Dusen Kaseinov, TURKSOY Secretariat and the artists/musicians of the Turkic World for their high performances, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ebulfes Garayev underlined the greatness of the art and civilization of the Turkic world, which was proved once again with this wonderful conceret performance. Following the speech of the Minister, TURKSOY Secretary General Kaseinov stated that this concert tour was organized for the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkic Council and expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijan for the kind hospitality.
The concert was attended by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ramiz Hasanov, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Baku Erkan Özoral, diplomats from the Embassies of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to Baku, TÜRKPA Secretary General Altınbek Mamayusupov, President of Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Gunay Afandiyeva, prominent public figures, representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Azerbaijan, academicians, leading names from Azerbaijan’s culture and art community, representatives of NGOs.

The Project Director Yıldız Uzakova represented the Turkic Council at the concert.
