In accordance with the decisions taken at the Fifth Meeting of the Turkic Council Working Group on Tourism, the Tourism Information Tour planned to be held on 12-15 November 2015 in Kyrgyzstan has started. The route of the tour is as follows: Bishkek -Burana-Cholpan Ata (Issyk Kul)-Karakol-Jedy Oguz- Bishkek.
Tour operators from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkey, representatives from the relevant Ministries, as well as the members of the press take part in the tour organized by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Information of Kyrgyzstan. The Assistant Coordinator and Cameraman of the TRT Avaz television channel Taner Gürbüz and Betül Soyak are among the participants. The delegation also does a fieldwork regarding the Kyrgyzstan part of the Turkic Council-Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Package whose preparations are still going on. In this regard, the group has visited the Burana Castle and its surroundings lying on the ancient Silk Road on 12 November 2015. Later the delegation had a traditional lunch and watched the demonstration of the horse performance “Oglak Tartis”, “Wrestling” and “Race”, one of the traditional sports of the Turkic World.
The Project Directors Zhyldyz Uzakova and Pelin Musabay Baki represent the Turkic Council at the tour.
