The Turkic Council delegation headed by the Deputy Secretary General Dr. Omer Kocaman attended the official opening of the South-South Knowledge Exchange and Cooperation Workshop on Effective Pasture Management and Rural Tourism hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Industry and Melioration of the Kyrgyz Republic in partnership with South-South and Triangular Cooperation for Agricultural Development and Enhanced Food Security (SSTC-ADFS) held on 26-28 September 2017 in Bishkek.
During the official opening session Mr. Zhanybek Kerimaliev, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Food Industry and Melioration of Kyrgyzstan welcomed the participants of the event.
Deputy Secretary General Kocaman also had a welcome speech, where he informed the audience on the activities of Turkic Council in the tourism sector and cooperation with UN specialized agencies and organizations, including UNWTO, UNDP, UNOSSC and others.
Further, Dr. Kocaman presented his presentation on the project of Turkic Council in tourism sector namely "Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Package".
After the presentation, the promotional video on the said Tour Package was presented for all participants.
Project Director of the Turkic Council Yedil Myrzakhanov accompanied the Deputy Secretary General during the event.
