The Turkic Council delegation which is on an official visit to Kazakhstan within the framework of the "10th International Conference on Transport Transit Potential-TransEurasia 2017" due to be held in Astana on November 2, 2017 by the Ministry of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan, participated in the "TransKazakhstan Translogistica" Transport and Logistics Fair on 1 November 2017.
Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Dr. Ömer Kocaman and the Project Director Ali Çiviler participated in the fair and held meetings with the representatives of a large number of companies carrying in various modes on the Sino-European line. During these meetings, the Turkic Council delegation gave information about the Trans-Caspian Transportation corridor that passes over the member states of the Turkic Council and the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway which has recently been opened.
Headed by the Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov, the Turkic Council delegation in Astana, has also participated in the meeting of the Working Group on Transport and Border Crossings organized by SPECA.
