The Turkic Council joins its Founding Member, the Kyrgyz Republic, in mourning for the victims of coronavirus in the country.
July 30, 2020 was declared as the National Day of Mourning in Kyrgyzstan in memory of Kyrgyz citizens who died due to coronavirus, with the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
On this very occasion, to join grieving with brotherly people of Kyrgyzstan, the flags of the Member States located in front of the Secretariat building of the Turkic Council in Istanbul have been halved. 
On behalf of all the Member States, the Turkic Council Secretariat presents its deep condolences to the Kyrgyz Republic and families and relatives of the victims, wishes a speedy amelioration from this pandemic, the restoration of economic and social strength of the country as well as expresses the full support of the Turkic States to this end.
