The Turkic Council Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Package Project marked an important step in its realization.
The Special Meeting of Turkic Council Working Group on Tourism, moderated by Deputy Secretary General of Turkic Council Dr. Ömer Kocaman, was held on on 8 April 2017 in Almaty.
The participants of the meeting, which also included the financial managers of the tour operators included in the project, delt with and concluded the financial details of the Turkic Silk Road Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Package Project. The sales of the said project are planned to start in the coming July.
The tour operators also discussed the details of the fam trips to be held on 21 April-5 May 2017 and 12 May-26 May 2017 with the participation of journalists, representatives of international tour operator companies, bloggers and experts in the field.
It is projected that Promotion Fund of the Republic of Turkey will support the said fam trips, while Turkish Airlines will be the official sponsor for the transportation of the tours. Air Astana will also be one of the spornsors of the tours.
Project Directors of the Turkic Council Pelin Musabay Baki ve Yedil Myrzakhanov accompanied Deputy Secretary General Kocaman at the meeting.
