Within the context of First Turkic Council University Sports Games held in Azerbaijan between 5-10 April 2018, University sportsmen and presidents of university sports federations of the Turkic Council Member States, officials of Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan and members of the Turkic Council Secretariat visited Baku Martyrs Memorial.
Members of the delegation laid flowers and had a minute of silence in front of the martyrs monument.
Within the framework of the visit, the Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Dr. Ömer Kocaman gave statements to the press about the University Sports Games being held in Baku.
The games will end with a formal Closing Ceremony with the participation of all delegations today (April 9, 2018).
