The "WCO IT 2017” IT conference and exhibition has started its work on 7 June 2017 in Tbilisi.
The conference is dedicated to IT system and importance of having a sound data governance framework as well as security concerns in customs and other relevant areas.
The Meeting was inaugurated by the opening remarks from Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Georgia, Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia, Secretary General of WCO and Director General of Korea Customs Service.
The Meeting continued with statements of keynote speakers in e-commerce and a single window.
More than 400 persons representing companies, international organizations and NGOs attended the said Exhibition.
Project Director of the Turkic Council Farid Damirli participated at the Conference.
