Turkic Council attended the “B20 Azerbaijan Regional Consultation Forum” held on 12 May 2015 in Baku.
The delegation of the Turkic Council headed by Deputy Secretary General Mr. Abzal Saparbekuly participated at the “B20 Azerbaijan Regional Consultation Forum” held on 12 May 2015 in Baku.
In his address Mr. Saparbekuly emphasized the importance of business community in economic relations and the need for further cooperation among various institutions and governmental agencies. Furthermore, he elaborated on the activities of the Turkic Council and the projects implemented in order to contribute to the economic prosperity in the region and facilitate trade relations among Member States and neighbours.
The Opening statements were also delivered by H.E. Ali Babacan, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey; Shahin Mustafayev, Minister of Economy and Industry of the Republic of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Rifat Hisarciklioglu, TOBB President - B20 Turkey Chair; Mammad Musayev, President of National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of Azerbaijan and Mammad Zulfugarov, Secretary General of BSEC Business Council.
