Turkic Council delegation attended the second day of Pre-Conference technical training workshops organized in the framework of the Fifth National Evaluation Capacities Conference.
Turkic Council Project Directors Pelin Musabay Baki and Jeyhun Shahverdiyev attended the “Workshop on Establishing a National Evaluation System: case of Kazakhstan” on 17 October 2017 organized in the framework of the Fifth National Evaluation Capacities Conference. Mr. Aibatyr Zhumagulov, Vice-Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Mr. Alikhan Baimenov, Chairman of the Steering Committee of Astana Civil Service Hub gave comprehensive information on the Governance Sector Reform of Kazakhstan, as well as had presentation on the establishing a National evaluation system.
In the framework of this workshop, the representatives of Azerbaijan and Georgia also had presentations on assessment and evaluation activities in their respective countries.
Later Dr. Omer Kocaman, Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council and Project Directors joined to a Welcome Reception on the occasion of the Fifth National Evaluation capacities Conference hosted by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, H.E. Ambassador Ahmet Yıldız and informed the participants about the activities of the Turkic Council as well as the contributions of the Turkic Council to the achievement of SDGs.
