Turkic Council delegation has started preparations in Bishkek for the forthcoming 6th Summit of the Turkic Council, to be held in Kyrgyz Republic on 3 September 2018.
Turkic Council Project Directors Ali Çiviler, Yıldız Uzakova and Acting Chief of Protocol Araz Salmanov started their work on the preparations for the 6th Summit of the Turkic Council on 23 August 2018 in Bishkek. The delegation, which is in contact with the officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, prepares and co-ordinates the 6th Summit Meeting, which will take place with the participation of Heads of State, as well as the meetings of the Senior Officials Committee and Council of Foreign Ministers of the Turkic Council to be held prior to the Summit.

Following the meeting of Senior Officials Committee between 27-30 August 2018, the Council of Foreign Ministers Meeting will take place in Bishkek. The Summit Meeting of the Council of Heads of State, which is the Turkic Council’s main decisive body, will be held on 3 September 2018 in Cholpon-Ata. Following the Summit Meeting, the Chairmanship of the Turkic Council will pass from the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kyrgyz Republic.
