Turkic Council delegation headed by Dr. Omer Kocaman, Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council participated in the 23rd Council of Ministers Meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization hosted by the Republic of Tajikistan on 16-17 April 2018 in Dushanbe.
At the meeting, Deputy Secretary General delivered his statement through which he presented ongoing projects and recent achievements of the Turkic Council especially in the areas of mutual interest of both organization.
As the highest decision making mechanism of the ECO, Council of Ministers approved the renewal of the observer status of the Turkic Council to the Economic Cooperation Organization which originally was granted in 2012 and extended in 2015.
Project Director Ozge Pan accompanied the Deputy Secretary General during the meeting.
