Turkic Council delegation is attending the 22nd East Mediterranean International Tourism & Travel Exhibition (EMITT).
Turkic Council delegation headed by Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ömer Kocaman is presenting the Turkic Council Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Package at the 22nd East Mediterranean International Tourism & Travel Exhibition (EMITT). Starting today (25 January 2018), the event will last for four days until 28 January 2018 in Istanbul at the Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center.

The Deputy Secretary General Kocaman attended the opening ceremony of the fair, which was honored by Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Prof. Dr. Numan Kurtulmuş and Governor of Istanbul Vasip Şahin and former Secretary General of UN World Tourism Organization Taleb D. Rifai.

In an arrangement between the two organizations, the desk booked for the promotion of the tour package is taking its place on the site reserved for the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey.

The sales of the Joint Tour Package, the first round of which will be held on 15 March 2018, will begin shortly at http://www.modernsilkroadtour.com/ .

EMITT exhibition, one of the top five tourism fairs worldwide, attracts annually over 46,000 industry professionals and tourists looking for new and exciting travel opportunities from destinations and travel service companies from across the globe. This year around 1000 exhibitors from over 106 countries will present their products at the fair.

Project Director Özge Pan, Research Expert Dastan Almen and archivist Haluk Dalkılıç accompanied Deputy Secretary General Kocaman at the fair.
