Parties discussed the preparations of the upcoming 7th Summit of the Turkic Council to be held in October 2019 in Azerbaijan with the theme of “Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises” (SMEs) which was selected taking into consideration the vital role played by SMs in the development of countries. Parties also exchanged views on the other related activities to be organized throughout the Summit.
The parties emphasized that this year's summit is of special importance because it corresponds to the 10th Anniversary of the signing of the Nakhchivan Agreement, which is the founding agreement of the Turkic Council, and expressed their hope that through the joint efforts, the upcoming Turkic Council Summit hosted by Azerbaijan will be a successful historic event for the benefit of Turkic world.
