Today (5 April 2017), Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Abzal Saparbekuly was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Turkey by the Decree of President of Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

As the Turkic Council, we thank Deputy Secretary General Abzal Saparbekuly for his outstanding services since the establishment of the Turkic Council, congratulate him with his new post and wish success in all his future endeavors!

The Organization of Turkic States was established in 2009 as an intergovernmental organization. Its primary objective is to foster comprehensive cooperation among Turkic States.
