Turkic Council Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ömer Kocaman attended the official congratulatory ceremony held on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic of Turkey, October 29th Republic Day, on 29 October 2017 in the morning. During the ceremony, state officials and foreign mission chiefs presented their congratulations to the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Later in the evening of the same day, Deputy Secretary General Kocaman took part in the reception given by President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his wife Emine Erdoğan to celebrate the October 29th Republic Day. President Erdoğan made a speech addressing about two thousand invitees representing prominent figures coming from the politics, arts and business world, as well as relatives of martyrs, veterans and relatives of veterans.
