Turkic Council Deputy Secretary General, Dr. Ömer Kocaman took part as speaker in the Crans Montana Club of Ports Session dedicated to "Maritime Security".

During the session that was co-chaired by Founding President of the Forum and by Deputy Assistant Secretary General for emerging security challenges of NATO, participants from various institutions and backgrounds discussed the today’s security threats, the means of cooperation and the role of public-private actors.

Dr. Kocaman, in his speech, informed the audience on Turkic Council’s ongoing projects, particularly about Trans Caspian Corridor, which goes through the member states sea ports and future prospects on security.

Project Directors of the Turkic Council Ozge Pan and Yedil Myrzakhanov accompanied the Deputy Secretary General.
