Turkic Council Election Observer Mission headed by the Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ömer Kocaman began monitoring activities in the framework of the Constitutional Referendum in the Kyrgyz Republic in Bishkek on 9 December 2016.
The observation mission composed of the officials of the Turkic Council Secretariat and representatives from Member States started its activities by visiting ballot boxes. The delegation got information about the general atmosphere and the preparations for the elections.
The referendum on the amendments to the constitution in Kyrgyz Republic will be held on 11 December 2016.
