Turkic Council International Election Observation Mission held a press conference on the early Parliamentary Elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan
Turkic Council International Election Observation Mission concluded its activities with a press conference organized in Baku on 10 February 2020, during which Deputy Secretary General Dr. Omer Kocaman, as the Head of Delegation, shared the assessment of the Mission on the early Parliamentary Elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan with national, international and public media outlets.
In the statement, the Mission congratulated the Azerbaijani Government and brotherly people of Azerbaijan for the successful conduct of the elections in compliance with national legislation and international standards and pointed out that the results would further enhance the development and prosperity of the country. 
Dr. Kocaman expressed satisfaction with the administrative measures in the framework of the electoral process, campaigning activities of the political parties, innovations and improved organizational strategy of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the successful conduct of the elections.  
Then, the Mission shared its monitoring assessments on the Election Day, during which the two delegations in Baku and Mingachevir cities have visited 24 polling stations in total. 
The Mission concluded its statement by affirming that the early Parliamentary Elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan were open, transparent and competitive. 
At the Press Conference, Deputy Secretary General Dr. Omer Kocaman was accompanied by the members of the Central Election Committee of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, officials from Turkey, as well as Project Directors of the Turkic Council Secretariat.
