Turkic Council Joint Election Observation Mission to monitor the early Parliamentary Elections of Kazakhstan, performed its activities in Almaty and Kyzylorda on 20 March 2016.
Turkic Council Joint Election Observer Mission to monitor the Early Parliamentary Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty and Kyzylorda conducted its activities starting early in the morning of 20 March 2016.

The mission composed of the officials of the Turkic Council Secretariat and the International Turkic Academy, as well as the representatives from Member States. The two delegations in total visited 61 ballot boxes, 34 in Almaty and 27 in Kyzylorda. After visiting the ballot boxes the mission attended the counting of votes process.

The press took several interviews from the heads of delegation in both cities. In addition to this, the delegation from Kyzylorda had a press conference on the course of the elections in the city.

A press conference to inform the public about the results of the observations will be held in Almaty, at Kazakhstan Hotel, on 21 March 2016.
