Turkic Council Junior Diplomats 5th Joint Training Program participants visited TURKSOY and TIKA.
Turkic Council Junior Diplomats 5th Joint Training Program participants visited International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) and Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) headquarters in Ankara on 28 June 2018.

Deputy Secretary General of TURKSOY Prof. Fırat Purtaş informed the participants about the establishment of the organization, which is recognized in the world as the UNESCO of the Turkic World, its activities and the future projects aimed at strengthening ties of brotherhood and solidarity among its member countries – Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan as well as other Turkic peoples, transmitting the common Turkic culture to future generations and promoting it around the world.

The representative of TIKA Mirzet Mujezinovic made a presentation on organization’s activities around the world, especially in the Caucasus and Central Asia, and answered the questions of the young diplomats.

Prior to the visits, Coordinator at the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) Ahmet Alemdar and Expert at Yunus Emre Institute Duygu Saykan made presentations for the diplomats where they gave detailed information on the complementary actors of the Turkish foreign policy through concrete examples from the activities of their organizations.
