Turkic Council Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Package attracted a great deal of interest at the New York Times Travel Show that took place on 26-28 January 2018 in New York.

Within the scope of the agreement between the Turkic Council and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, the activities for the promotion of the Turkic Council Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Package at the New York Times Travel Show were completed.

In this regard, Project Director Pelin Musabay Baki informed the visitors during the fair that the tour is planned to be launched on 15 March 2018 on the eve of the Nawruz holiday celebrations in the region.

Throughout the three days, the tour continued to occupy the attention of the visitors to the fair, which was attended by more than 8000 industry professionals and 900 media representatives.

The promotional video of the package was screened in the course of the exhibition. The Project Director Baki held bilateral talks with the foreign tour operators interested in the package.

At the end of the fair, Project Director Baki expressed gratitude to Tourism Attaché of the Republic of Turkey to Washington Sedat Gönüllüoğlu for his contribution regarding the participation in the exhibition.
