Observer Mission of the Turkic Council to follow early Presidential Elections in Kazakhstan which composed of the Secretariat officials and representatives from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkey started its observation activities on 23 April 2015.
The delegation was divided into two groups: the first one observing election in Almaty and the other one in Taraz.
The Group observing election in Taraz held various meetings yesterday and today with the Head of Taraz territorial election commission and got information about the preparations of the commission. The Observer Mission also met with one of the candidates Mr. Abelgazi Kusainov.
Candidates have indicated that they have not faced any law violations and no violations of law regarding possible influence of pre-election campaign on election results were observed by the Mission Members.
