Delegation of the Turkic Council headed by Deputy Secretary General Mr. Abzal Saparbekuly has participated at the International Investement Forum “New investment opportunities within the Eurasian Economic Union” that was held on 7 November 2014 in Shymkent (Kazakhstan).
In the framework of the Forum delegation of the Turkic Council has met with the Deputy Governor of the South Kazakhstan Region Mr. Saparbek Tuyakbaev. Also the entrepreneurs had held their business to business meetings.
New investment opportunities of Kazakhstan as 10 times growth of the market, visa free regime with new 10 countries, tax exemption and other trade incentives were presented at the Forum by Deputy Minister of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan Mr. Albert Rau.
The result of the International Investment Forum was impressive, 17 memorandums in the field of mechanical engineering, light industry, pharmaceuticals, construction industry, tourism and green energy with foreign investors on total amount of 865 million USD were signed.
