Turkic Council Project Director Ali Çiviler participated in the 2nd UNESCO Youth Forum organized by UNESCO on 8 September 2017 in Almaty.
The representatives from the Almaty Akimat (local administration), UNESCO Almaty, the relevant state bodies of Kazakhstan as well as a large number of academicians took part in the opening ceremony of the forum, which brought together about 100 youth leaders coming from the countries of the region including the Turkic Council member states and was held under the theme of the “Establishment of Intercultural Dialogue and Cooperation among the Youth in the Prevention of Violent Extremism”.

Turkic Council Project Director Çiviler, speaking in the context of the said forum, informed the audience about the projects and activities of the Turkic Council carried out in the field of Youth.
More specifically, Project Director Çiviler mentioned about the Youth Camps and Festivals, the Youth Platform, which was recently established under the aegis of the Turkic Council, and the cooperation with other international organizations in the field of Youth.

Turkic Council is an international organization, which strives to materialize the values defended by UN and its affiliated organization UNESCO in the field of Youth Policy by realizing concrete projects in its member states and the region.
