Turkic Council Project Director Ali Çiviler attended the Second Turkic World Ancestor Sport Festival organized by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality on 22-23 July 2017 in Keles Kocayayla, Bursa.
Performances of Turkic World common culture and art heritage were staged at event during which many competitions on traditional sports branches took place. In the scope of the festival, the participants put on many different exhibitions of Turkic World cuisine as well.
The former Minister of Labor and Social Security of the Republic of Turkey Mehmet Müezzinoğlu, Deputy Mayor of Bursa, Deputy Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality, TURKSOY Secretary General, high-level officials and academicians as well as a number of representatives of embassies located in Turkey, especially the embassies of the Turkic Speaking States, attended the opening ceremony of the event.
